Charlotte, N.C. (October 17, 2007) – Socialserve.com Chief Communications Officer Nina Fedele rounded out a panel on homelessness on this morning's edition of the radio program Charlotte Talks. Guests from area housing agencies and initiatives joined host Mike Collins to discuss issues ranging from Charlotte's available homeless services to the definition of affordable housing.

Other panelists included Karen Montaperto, Executive Director of Charlotte Emergency Housing; Darren Ash, Executive Director of Workforce Initiative Supportive Housing (WISH); and Megan Coffey, social worker with Homeless Support Services. The hour-long conversation touched on startling statistics regarding homelessness amongst Charlotte families and in the school system, and guests reminded listeners of the Homeless Awareness Walk in Charlotte on November 17.

Charlotte Talks is a popular morning show produced by WFAE 90.7 FM, the National Public Radio and Public Radio International affiliate station serving Charlotte and the Charlotte region.
