Charlotte, N.C. (May 2008) – The Socialserve.com network continues to expand housing locator services across the nation with the recent addition of the State of Tennessee.

Tennessee’s TNHousingSearch.org, sponsored by the Tennessee Housing Development Agency and supported across the state, opened for landlord listings in April 2008, with the search side to be launched publicly in mid May. The rapidly-growing TNHousingSearch.org service is already populated with nearly 22,000 units, of which over 2,000 are available for move-in today.

"This is the best reception ever of our service in a new state." said Nina Fedele, Chief Communications Officer for Socialserve.com. A timely opportunity allowed for a large-scale introduction of the site at the state’s mid-April Spring Workshop for the Tennessee Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (TAHRA). More than 60 PHA staff were in attendance at the TNHousingSearch.org session, and several Tennessee housing authorities have announced they will be managing their Section 8 listings entirely through Socialserve.com, which will also allow them access to several PHA management tools. The Knoxville Housing Authority has already begun using TNHousingSearch.org for Section 8 listing management. The Chattanooga Housing Authority uses the Socialserve.com locator service through a personalized portal, www.mycommunityrents.com, replacing another housing locator system.

The Socialserve.com team works together to provide second-to-none housing resources to over half of the U.S. population. For more information about Socialserve.com, please contact Nina Fedele or Beth Leysieffer at 704-334-8722 or through nina@socialserve.com.
