With the launches of customized housing locators in New York and Illinois, Socialserve.com will now provide dedicated services to the nation's four most populous cities: New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston, TX.

Heightened media attention is also helping more people in need to locate the free service. In the District of Columbia, Mayor Fenty's January announcement of the Socialserve.com custom locator DCHousingSearch.org and a subsequent Washington Post article bumped housing searches on the newly launched service to nearly 2,200 a week.
