Charlotte, NC (February 25, 2010) – Socialserve.com was designated an Honored Saver by the financial counseling group CharlotteSaves for implementing an extensive employee financial counseling program in 2009. The honor was awarded at a luncheon in uptown Charlotte's Blue Restaurant on February 25. Socialserve.com presented a video where program participants shared wisdom about saving money, reconciling receipts, and the idea that "every, every, everybody should develop a budget."

The luncheon was attended by financial institutions such as Bank of America and the Charlotte accounting firm Blair, Bohlé & Whitsitt. Also in attendance was North Carolina State Treasurer Janet Cowell, who held a special forum with Socialserve.com staff and CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont Michael Elder about successful strategies for employee financial counseling.
