Charlotte, N.C. (October 30, 2007) – Socialserve.com will help landlords in eight Southern California counties list available housing for victims of the California wildfires. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a press announcement on Tuesday, October 30, encouraging landlords to go to Socialserve.com to list properties for HUD's National housing Locator System. Socialserve.com has activated seven new California counties for property listings – Imperial, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura, along with Los Angeles County (which is already served by Socialserve.com) – and asks that landlords visit www.socialserve.com today to list properties for people in need.

All the properties listed through Socialserve.com will also be available on the HUD National Housing Locator System. A news release has been posted on the HUD website for more information. Read it here.
