Charlotte, NC (June 2009) – Socialserve.com is continuing the trend of unprecedented growth in 2009. Spring 2009 has seen the establishment of two new divisions as well as ongoing development team additions. The agency also opens a new call center space in summer 2009 and has a new Web Development Center located in Chicago.

New Divisions: Special Needs Housing Services and Housing Data Division

The success of Socialserve.com special-needs services prompted the opening of the Socialserve.com Division of Special Needs Housing Services in April 2009. This division will increase offerings to agencies serving at-risk, hard-to-house populations. The department is headed by Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Martin Moeser, who has more than two decades of housing industry and caseworking experience. Moeser will administer and help develop an array of tools that address the software needs of agencies working with special-needs clients.

Moeser also has extensive experience as a front-end user of Socialserve.com while working as a caseworker at Georgia's Progressive Redevelopment, Inc., an affordable housing agency in Atlanta. "I can state unequivocally that this system completely revolutionized the way my organization could provide our clients with housing choices and effective housing placements," said Moeser. "It is my mission to significantly increase use of special-needs housing tools through marketing and training efforts. I am driven by my belief that the conditions of our special needs populations are not a choice and that every person and every family deserves a place to call home."

The Socialserve.com Housing Data Division, also established in April, will serve the reporting needs of regions served by Socialserve.com. Because of the range of up-to-date housing data generated on the Socialserve.com system, Socialserve.com is in a unique position to offer detailed statistical analysis integrated with GIS mapping tools to help regions make housing policy decisions, satisfy reporting requirements and procure future housing development funding.

New Call Center and Chicago Web Development Center

Charlotte, NC, continues to be the call center and software development hub for Socialserve.com. New call center space is slated to open in Charlotte in June 2009 to accommodate the ever-growing staff.

In January 2009, an additional Socialserve.com Web Development Center opened in Chicago. "With our national expansion, the time has been right for us to begin opening remote locations," said Van Gottel, CEO and Founder. "The Chicago software development landscape offers immense talent. We also plan on opening a second call center in Tucson in the near future."

"There are so many ways to serve the housing continuum and so many good people out there to help our mission. As always, it's an exciting time," said Gottel.
