Charlotte, N.C. (May 10, 2007) – Socialserve.com Communications and Marketing staff Nina Fedele and Beth Leysieffer attended the 29th Annual Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS) conference on May 6-9. Held along the Jacksonville, Florida, waterfront on the St. Johns River, the conference highlighted issues faced by information & referral (I&R) services such as 2-1-1 (an easy-to-recognize phone number offering access to needed help-line services in cities and states across the country).

Conference sessions addressed issues like designing successful I&R services, ensuring accuracy of shared program and service information, call center management and performance assessment, partnering with area agencies to enhance service, best practices in serving client needs, technology options and much, much more. People around the country who are implementing innovations in their I&R services also presented ideas in hopes of influencing other agencies to adopt new practices that work.
