The Socialserve Call Center
Socialserve's toll-free, bilingual call center was established in 1999 to help housing providers, tenants, and supportive services agents access housing information when they couldn't reach a computer or just preferred personal interaction instead of the Internet.
The added convenience of free phone support not only upholds our mission of increasing access to housing; the call center adds the human element so necessary to a service dealing with the critical issue of safe, decent, affordable housing.
Commitment to Second Chances
Many of our employees have experienced barriers to employment such as incarceration, addiction, and/or housing crises. With intensive training and support, our team members gain transferable customer service, sales, and data management experience.
They're Busy!
Socialservers take part in regular trainings to keep up with the unique needs of each region we serve across the country. We become geography and topography buffs as we move seamlessly from one call, helping a landlord list accessible properties in the Arizona desert, to the next, helping a caller find a unit in upstate New York to use a Housing Choice Voucher, to the next, helping a services provider find a home for a Florida family displaced by a hurricane, and the list goes on. The call center handles thousands of contacts weekly from across the country.
